Prenatal Physical Therapy for a Healthy Pregnancy
Battle Born Health offers prenatal physical therapy to help moms-to-be have healthy, strong pregnancies and assist with a more comfortable delivery. Prenatal therapy is important and beneficial and can help with back pain, fatigue, dizziness, leg cramps, shortness of breath, swelling, and more. Our physical therapists will work with you to address any issues and work on treating symptoms and helping control future issues that are common during pregnancy. We care about your health and well-being and will work with you during, before after you have your baby.
The Mama 10-Pack
Customized Plans for Pregnancy and Postpartum
This package includes 10 one-on-one sessions with your physical therapist to work on whatever your body needs. We typically recommend we do 1 session in the first trimester, 2 sessions in the second trimester, 3 sessions in the third trimester, and 4 sessions in the critical (yet often overlooked) fourth trimester.
1, 2, 3, 4!
Of course, this is completely customizable based on your goals and the issues you are facing in your own body. And if you need more support, we can build that in too. We are here to help you, Mama!
When you work with Battle Born Health during and after your pregnancy you will build strength and reduce pain. You will also have a physical therapist who can help heal your body after the process of making and birthing a tiny human. You are not alone, and you do not need to “learn to live with it” or make anything that is uncomfortable, your new normal. Make an appointment with Sarah today to learn about our Mama 10-Pack.

What is Diastasis Recti Abdominis?
This is known as ab separation which is very common among pregnant women. During pregnancy, there is a lot of pressure on the belly and this can cause the muscles to not keep their shape. When the ab muscles move aside in this fashion, the uterus, bowels, and other organs only have a thin band of connective tissues to hold them in place. Without this muscle support, a vaginal delivery could be much more difficult. It’s important to know that it can also cause lower back pain, constipation, and also urine leaking. You may find that it’s harder to breathe and move normally. It’s important to work with a qualified physical therapist because it’s important that you don’t strain to cause more issues.
