Danielle Litoff: Owner, Physical Therapist and Functional Medicine Health Coach
Danielle Litoff is the owner and lead physical therapist at Battle Born Health. She works with both her physical therapy patients and her functional medicine clients to help them achieve their health goals, whether that is recovering from a knee surgery, training for a triathlon, or just wanting to feel and be healthier. She has a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University and is Certified in Functional Medicine from the Kalish Institute.
Danielle says that healthcare is in her blood. Her father was an orthopedic surgeon, which allowed her to spend a lot of time in a physical therapy clinic growing up. As a high school soccer player, she developed terrible knee pain her junior year and had surgery on both knees. After working with a physical therapist, she was able to return to soccer in college, and still plays for fun today. Physical therapy made it possible for her to return to something she loves and get a lifetime of enjoyment out of it.
Additionally, Danielle swam competitively for more than 25 years, competes in triathlons, is an active snowboarder and enjoys Crossfit and yoga.
Spending time on both sides of the physical therapy process has given Danielle a unique understanding of the physical and psychological roadblocks that can sometimes arise post-injury, and the tools and techniques to overcome them. She wants her patients and clients to know that with skilled physical therapy, they can be stronger today than yesterday. You can read about her full Health Journey on our Blog.
